Band in a Van is a small group that travels to the heart of communities to perform interactive events for those that, for whatever reason, cannot attend Alina Orchestra's main concert series and where the audience is part of the event!
The group perform anything from Disney to classical music, encouraging audiences to shake percussion, sing along, take part in body percussion or even conduct the group. For those budding musicians, you can even try an instrument at the end of the event!
It is great fun for the whole family, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The group play a range of music to enthuse, excite and entertain everyone watching with the aim of helping to connect participants with their local community and the many benefits of music, plus have fun! It’s free!
