The Milton Keynes Theatre Young Company will be presenting This Murder Was Staged; a hilarious, backstabbing, backstage murder mystery comedy, where a theatre production turns murder investigation… and everyone has their own reasons for wanting the play’s director dead!

The MKT Young Company offers young people the chance to develop their skills and understanding in a practical setting, as if in a professional theatre company. Working on a piece from initial concept through to final curtain, company members can take on performing and/or offstage roles under supervision of director, Heather Porte.

Young people in the Company have taken on stage management, lighting and sound design, wigs, props and even assisted in creating the programme, allowing young people to gain a real insight into the many different departments within theatre and how these all work together.
